Thanks to everyone who came out last month for an exciting game! We had 12 players with a total pot of $280 (resulting from 2 rebuys). The 3 finalists were all newbies to the club and included Muhammed Ali, Steve Courtney and Beth Eisenberg.
We're switching it up a little this month by holding our game on a Monday instead of the usual Thursday night. It is again hosted and sponsored by the very gracious guys at 50onRed (formerly Infuse Media) and Leadnomics. The office is located in the 11th floor of the Cira Center, right next to 30th Street Station.
The format is the same - $20 buy-in, NL Texas Hold'em tournament style and 20 or 30-min blinds depending on the number of players. Cash or Venmo is allowed. Re-buys are available for the first 30 mins ($20 for the same amount of chips). The games generally last an average of 3 hours with 14 players.
Be on time and make sure to RSVP or it's an extra $10 (Bonus: The money goes towards building the pot).
If you're driving, you can park at the garage (it's $20) or look for parking along Market or 32nd Street.
Don't have time for dinner? No worries. Beer/snacks will be provided and we'll take a pizza order before the game starts for those interested.
